Cattleya (Ruth Gee 'Diamond Jubilee' FCC/AOS x Spring Climax)

(Photo shows picture of what we expect these magnificent plants to look like)

Nothing puts on a show quite like a gorgeous classic white Cattleya.  This new cross has the all the elements needed tp produce stunning specimens.  Both parents are large standards with pure white petals and a dark yellow throat and upper lip.  Flowers will be generous in size and we expect good bud count as well.  Extremely fragrant with sturdy foliage to boot.

We have a nice batch of lovely plants in 5" pots that are flowering size.  A few may bloom this year but most will wait until next fall.

These beautiful plants were provided by our friends at a wholesale orchid nursery in Hawaii. The parents were virus free at the time of hybridizing but because we did not raise them in our greenhouses, we can not guarantee them to be virus free as we would our own lab grown material. Otherwise, we guarantee your satisfaction and safe delivery as with other plant purchases.

Darwinara Charm 'Blue Star' HCC/AOS x Holcoglossum amesianum

    SKU:10208/40

Darwinara Charm 'Blue Star' HCC/AOS x Holcoglossum amesianum

Darling miniatures in the Vanda alliance!  These seedlings will show mostly light blue and lavender pin-wheel shaped blooms.  Extremely fragrant flowers on compact growing plants. We have bloomed some from this grex and a previous cross with excellent results.

Growing Suggestions:  These are not bred from standard sized Vandas, so they will not need extremely bright light, nor will they tolerate very high temperatures.  They are very happy in mesh baskets with some media.  Plants currently receive daily misting and once to twice a week we will water them more heavily.

We are offering Blooming Size plants in 4" mesh baskets.  Very Limited.

The first parent is a pink version of the famous 'Blue Star'. The results of remaking the cross with another cultivar meant completely different colors! Lovely bright pink blooms are held above compact Vandaceaous foliage. Heavenly fragrance!

    Lc. Hawaiian Satisfaction 'Romantic' HCC/AOS

Very unique coloring on sturdy growing plants!  This mericlone cattleya has stunning light green blooms overlaid with soft cotton candy pink petal splashes.  Flowers are extremely long-lasting with waxy substance.  Blooms eventually become golden-green but still accented with those candy-pink markings.  This is a bifoliate grower that is suitable for pots, basket or even mount culture.

Growing Suggestions:  Do not over water especially in cooler, winter months.  Only repot when necessary, and  when new growth/roots are visible.

We are offering Blooming Size plants in 4" pots.  These are expected to flower in the coming twelve months.

  5. Phalaenopsis equestris x sibling

    Phalaenopsis equestris x sibling

    SKU:10350/25

    Phalaenopsis equestris

This offering is the result of line-breeding from the famous awarded 'Riverbend' cultivar.  Miniature growing plants will have sprays of dark lavender and white blooms.  The bloom stems continue to produce buds at the end for months after initial flowering is over.  Another plus is the fact that this species is known for producing keikis easily.

These should be grown in intermediate to warm conditions year round and low light (1200-1500 foot candles) for best results.  They tend to make a lot of air roots vs. roots insode their pots which makes them ideal for mounts or small baskets.

We have a limited amount of seedlings ready for the first time.  We expect more to be ready at a later date.

Plants are currently growing in 2.5" pots and are near flowering size.  This means they are expected to bloom spikes in about 12-18 months.   Please Limit to One per Customer.

Pricing on this item is Net and no further discounts will apply.

Slc. Jeanne Wilson ‘MVO’ AM/AOS *Limited Edition*

    SKU:10209M/40

    Slc. Jeanne Wilson ‘MVO’ AM/AOS

(Slc. Kauai Starbright x Sophronitis cernua)

New Limited Edition Mericlone!  This is a compact grower with sprays of bright orange and yellow blooms.  Foliage is expected to reach no more than 10" tall when mature, with rigid pairs of rounded leaves. Very nice late winter bloomer!  Will start flowering when young and get more impressive with age.

Due to the species parentage we recommend this for cool to intermediate growing conditions.  (Not suitable for outdoors in warm climates, ask us how we know...)  Medium to bright light is best.  We are growing these in mesh baskets with large grade fir bark since good drainage is a must.

We have a small crop of plants growing in 4" mesh baskets.  These are blooming size and expected to produce first blooms within the coming twelve months.
