  1. Epidendrum nocturnum

    Epidendrum nocturnum

    SKU:10311/30

We acquired our compact growing strain from Eucagenera, many years ago. These have been fast growers and easy bloomers. Plants grow in clumps with pale cream and tan blooms that are only fragrant in the evening and overnight hours. Great for warm climates and does well with mount or basket culture.

We have Blooming Size plants in 3” mesh baskets that are large enough to bud and flower at any time.  As they mature, plants become free-flowering year round.

Lc. Jungle Elf ‘Carmela’ x Cattleya Mark Jones ‘Newberry’

    SKU:9987/30

Lc. Jungle Elf  ‘Carmela’ x Cattleya Mark Jones ‘Newberry’

You can expect semi-compact to dwarf sized plants with spotted yellow blooms similar to the photo shown. The intensity of the freckles with vary but all should be colorful and unique. Suitable for mount or basket culture, and warmth tolerant.

We have found that these prefer very well-draining containers so seedlings are now happily growing in 3" mesh baskets with chunky media.  Plants are expected to reach flowering size within 2 years.

  3. Lc. Newberry Ice and Fire 'Summer Song'

Lc. Newberry Ice and Fire 'Summer Song' x Lc. Kiritsubo 'Southern Stars' *NEW*

    SKU:10250/25

Lc. Newberry Ice and Fire 'Summer Song' x Lc. Kiritsubo 'Southern Stars'

    (Both parents pictured)

We are so excited about this new hybrid!  Lc. Kiritsubo has proven itself many times as a parent for dwarf, free flowering seedlings.  The first parent is recently registered and is a first generation Laelia anceps cross. This new generation will be very compact with upright stems of semi-alba to pink and possibly some white blooms.  Flowers will be star-shaped and long-lasting.  Plants are warmth tolerant and eventually may prefer baskets or mounts.

We have our first crop of seedlings growing in 2.5" pots.  Approximately 2 years from first flowers?

This is a compact grower but will need bright, indirect light similar to standard cattleya conditions.  Not recommended for windowsill growers for this reason.

    SKU:10299/20

Potinara Lisa Taylor Gallis 'Nora' AM/AOS x Slc. Lana Coryell 'Forevermore' AM/AOS

    (Both parent photos are shown)

A gorgeous new hybrid with loads of potential! Both parents are warmth tolerant plus they have been known to flower two or more times per year.  Our goal is to create a new generation of miniature cattleyas, this time with soft, pastel shades.  There is the possibility for fragrance as well.  We suggest these for medium light levels and intermediate to warm temperatures.

We are offering our first available plants potted in 2” pots and growing in sphagnum moss.
