  1. Cymbidium dayanum album

    Cymbidium dayanum album

    SKU:9233/40

Cymbidium dayanum album 'Lady Elizabeth' CHM/AOS x self

We have found that the seedlings of this award winning parent are fast growers and thrive in lower light levels than most Cymbidiums, though brighter conditions will increase bud count.

Pendant stems of cream and faintly green flowers. As plants mature, multiple bloom stems are expected each year giving this excellent specimen potential.  Thin, grassy foliage that likes lots of airflow to prevent spotting. Great for hanging pots or baskets.

Plants are flowering size and growing in 4" pots.

  2. Encyclia Newberry Tuity Fruity

    Encyclia Newberry Tuity Fruity

    SKU:10200/20

    (Encyclia tampensis alba x granitica)

Showy stems of apple green blooms in the height of summer. Some seedlings will show the tampensis white lip, and others may carry the dark freckles from the granitica parent. Expected to be extremely fragrant. Fast growing and highly recommended for basket or mount culture.  Perfect for warm climates and outdoor collections.

We have just recently seen our first flowers from this exciting new primary cross. Just as expected shades of green with some tan shading. And the scent!  Such a wonderful sweet fragrance!

We have Flowering Size plants in 2” mesh baskets. Most of these will flower for the first time next spring/summer.

    SKU:10216/25

Pot. Newberry Apricot  x Pot. Newberry Delight 'Mendenhall' AM/AOS

    (Both parents are pictured)

This is our newest miniature to compact growing cattleya selection.  This time we have combined our favorite red parent, Newberry Delight with Newberry Apricot.  The latter is an interesting combination of Blc. George King x Soph. coccinea.  We are expecting to see a range of red and orange blooms, with very round overlapping form.  Plants will be compact growers around 10" tall when mature.  We do suggest these for cool to intermediate conditions due to the recent Sophronitis influence.

We have Near Blooming Size plants in at least 2.5" pot size.  These are expected to flower for the first time within 12-18 months.
