African violets are still considered one of America's Favorite Houseplants and will make great companion plants for many home growing orchids. These easy to grow plants can bloom for months at a time, and come in a range of pastel to bold colors. Some plants have unique foliage including curly, variegated and scalloped.
Plants thrive in average home temperatures (65-80 degrees) and will do well in or near a sunny windowsill. Media should be kept slightly moist but never soggy and bloom booster fertilizer can be given once or twice per month. Repotting should be done every 6-9 months, but keep plants in tight growing containers and use a light houseplant or African Violet potting soil. (Available Here).
We will send two different miniature African Violets, that will arrive in bud/bloom stage ready to enjoy. (Please allow growers to select prettiest plants for your order). These are great for collectors and perfect for gift giving.
