  1. Bl. Love Sound 'Dogashima'

Blc. Love Sound ‘Dogashima’ AM/AOS x Pot. Newberry Sweetheart ‘Lipstick’

    SKU:9935/25

An exciting new cross for warmth tolerant, compact Cattleyas.  The first parent, Blc. Love Sound is well known with upright stems of beautifully shaped yellow blooms.  Foliage is sturdy with hints of its Laelia briegeri parentage. The pollen parent, Potinara Newberry Sweetheart is a Carter and Holmes selection with exceptionally round, coral-orange blooms. So far seedlings have shown husky growth habit, on short plants.  We expect a range of yellow, peach and salmon colored blooms on semi-upright stems.  Bloom count will vary by plant but some of these could be quite impressive when mature.  These should be flowering size in 12-18 months.
