Carter and Holmes Orchids works to provide a variety of different orchids for sale including rare species, classic mericlones, new and unique hybrids grown from seed and more. Our goal is to offer healthy, vigorous plants that will thrive in different growing conditions, though we consider our 'niche' to be orchids that are suitable for the beginner or hobby grower. Our selections for sale will vary throughout the year.

    We are very pleased to present our exclusive and much anticipated new mericlone. The original was acquired directly from the Rod McLellan Co years ago and we have never seen another bloom that compares. This gorgeous offering has huge, round blooms of soft lavender-pink with a wash of lemony yellow coloring high in the throat. A very clean, upright grower that you can expect to produce flowers in mid to late fall each year. Extremely fragrant.

    A new and unique cross that should have some exciting results.  The first parent is a large, concolor yellow standard with heavy substance, combined with the clusters of spotted blooms on Mark Jones.  We hope to see clusters of medium sized yellow to greenish blooms with some freckles on the petals.  Most will have at least some purple coloring on the lip.

    Our growers recommend using this on most orchids at least 3-4 times per year.  Can be alternated with other fertilizers like Urea Free 20-10-20 and Dyna Grow 7-8-6.

    We have noticed that Phalaenopsis and Ladyslippers appreciate this fertilizer on a more regular basis.

    Directions for use: 1 tsp per gallon of water.

    (5 lb bag of dry fertilizer)  This item must be shipped separately than any plant material
